Description

You will provide direct patient care including hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, and safety support, while accurately documenting and communicating with the care team. This role is vital to ensuring resident comfort and well-being in a long-term care setting.

Requirements

• Active CNA certification in state of work
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods
• Ability to lift 40+ lbs and transfer patients 200+ lbs
• Excellent communication and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Provide hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, elimination, and safety support
• Document patient care and record vital signs, I/O, and belongings
• Answer call lights, complete rounds, and reposition residents
• Apply slings, splints, braces per physician orders
• Give report and complete walking rounds at shift change
