Description

You will join an engineering team in Tampere for 3–6 months, contributing to product development by improving algorithms and automated testing infrastructure. You'll work on real-world computer vision and machine learning projects, applying theory from your studies in an international environment.

Requirements

• Enrolled in or completed bachelor's or master's in CS, IT or related field
• Solid knowledge of data structures and OOP
• Courses in computer vision, image processing or machine learning
• C++ programming skills for on-device algorithms
• Python knowledge is a plus

Responsibilities

• Improve barcode scanning algorithms for surfaces with deformations, glare or reflections
• Enhance real-time visual tracking and pose estimation with sensor integration and machine learning
• Reduce manual steps in image annotation tools with smart algorithms
• Improve extraction of semantic information from complex documents through visual reasoning
• Enhance real-time visualization system for algorithm analysis
