Description

You will lead chip architecture definition for photonic products, collaborating with partners and engineers to deliver innovative solutions for AI data centers. Your work will involve co-optimizing optoelectronic interfaces, guiding a team of architects, and representing the company at industry events.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field with 10+ years experience.
• Strong managerial experience and track record of growing teams.
• Deep technical knowledge in photonic/AMS chip co-design.
• Proven success in developing, taping out, and bringing up photonic/AMS chips from concept to high-volume production.
• Experience as primary technical point of contact with major external customers or partners.

Responsibilities

• Guide, coach, and mentor a team of chip architects across photonics, digital, and analog domains.
• Define chip architectures for datacenter/AI optical interconnect products.
• Lead co-optimization of SerDes, analog front ends, and optical transceivers for performance, energy, and cost.
• Provide technical leadership to cross-functional engineering teams.
• Act as primary technical liaison for key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
