Description

You will lead a team of data scientists to shape Lyft's mapping products by leveraging data and analytical thinking. Your work will involve identifying opportunities, designing experiments, measuring impact, and collaborating with engineering teams to improve routing, ETAs, and overall navigation efficiency.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in quantitative field or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years hands-on technical experience in experimentation, causal inference, or data science
• 2+ years management experience building and leading data science teams
• Strong expertise in statistics, experimental design, and causal inference
• Experience launching and monitoring consumer facing products

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a high-performing team of data scientists
• Define and drive the data science vision, strategy, and roadmap
• Provide technical guidance on complex data science problems
• Champion data-driven decision-making with product managers and engineers
• Lead deep-dive analyses into large-scale datasets
