Description

You will develop software and machine learning algorithms to solve real-world problems for the DoD and biomedical researchers. Your work includes data processing, algorithm development, evaluation, and deploying production code. You'll also present work to high-level customers and have opportunities to publish.

Requirements

• Expertise in Python (NumPy, pandas) and either PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Deep understanding of ML fundamentals (gradient descent, cross-validation, ROC curves)
• Knowledge of classical ML (e.g., SVM, logistic regression)
• Familiarity with computer vision algorithms (object detection, image classification)
• B.S., preferably M.S./Ph.D. in engineering, math, CS, or related field

Responsibilities

• Develop software and ML algorithms for real-world customer problems

• Present work to high-level DoD and industry customers
• Opportunity to publish novel work
