Description

As an on-call Construction Site Inspector with Benesch, you will play a crucial role in supervising construction inspections on railroad infrastructure projects across the United States. You will oversee contractors, ensure compliance with specifications, and document daily progress.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of practical experience as a field inspector on infrastructure projects
• Concrete Structure/Bridge Inspection Experience is a strong plus
• Eager to learn and proactive approach
• Must be capable of collaborating effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Valid driver's license
• Willing and able to travel to project sites across the Midwest US

Responsibilities

• Daily oversight of contractors' work
• Enforce contractor responsibilities and ensure compliance with contract specifications
• Accurately measure and validate contractor quantities
• Generate daily construction reports
• Monitor quality assurance documentation
• Maintain daily Field Book entries
• Track construction activity progress
• Participate in progress meetings
• Collaborate with Resident Project managers on technical challenges
