Description

You will influence the security of software across our product lines, including Starlink's satellite constellation, consumer receivers, and infrastructure. You'll design and build security infrastructure, develop security features for satellite components, and improve our security posture through direct implementation and recommendations to other teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in CS/STEM + 5 years security software dev experience, or 7+ years without degree
• Experience with Python, C++, or Golang
• Experience designing security solutions for operating systems, distributed systems, or large-scale infrastructure
• Fundamental understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP)
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed

Responsibilities

• Design and build security infrastructure for Starlink, including cryptographic services
• Develop security features for Starlink systems (router, dish, gateways, satellites)
• Design security into factory processes and provide network services
• Maintain production systems and improve security posture via direct implementation and team recommendations
• Build prototypes to identify, design, and test security improvements
