💼 About This Role

You'll join SpaceX's fairing team to refurbish and test Falcon 9 fairings for reuse. Your work will directly support rapid rocket turnaround and mission success. Hands-on mechanical work with flight-critical hardware in a high-energy environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Provide daily support to fairing team on new and flight-proven fairings
• Install spacecraft hardware including harnessing, thermal skin, avionics, and fluid systems
• Execute procedures for checkout of flight hardware and ground support equipment
• Work in clean rooms and support Starlink integration, fairing refurbishment, and payload integration

📋 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in assembly, test, maintenance, repair, or installation
• Ability to pass Space Force background check for Vandenberg SFB
• Ability to work night shift, overtime, and weekends (5pm-3:30am Mon-Fri)

✨ Nice to Have

• Associate degree in aerospace technology or equivalent
• Experience with launch vehicle or spacecraft integration
• Military aviation experience as propulsion or airframe technician
