Description

In this role, you will define and execute the sourcing of electricity to charge Rondo Heat Battery projects, from conceptual framing through to commercial contracting. Your work will directly enable project economics and viability, guide market expansion, and shape policy support for electrified industrial heat.

Requirements

• Experience in energy strategy, power procurement, or related field
• Knowledge of power markets, PPAs, and renewable energy sourcing
• Ability to manage analytical tools and consulting partners
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Senior-level experience in a relevant industry

Responsibilities

• Develop power pricing and sourcing strategies for new Rondo Heat Battery projects
• Secure and manage analytical tools and consulting partners for power market forecasts and grid connection support
• Build and maintain relationships with IPPs, traders, utilities, and renewable developers
• Structure, negotiate, and execute electricity procurement agreements (VPPA, grid charging, greenfield off-grid, hybrid)
• Lead procurement processes (RFIs, RFPs) evaluating offers on commercial, technical, and regulatory criteria
