Description

You will train large language models in radiological health by verifying factual accuracy, capturing error traces, and suggesting improvements to prompt engineering. Your expertise in radiation protection and health physics will help build the next generation of AI for scientific discovery.

Requirements

• PhD in health physics, radiological sciences, nuclear engineering, medical physics, or related field preferred
• Board certification such as CHP or ABHP
• Applied research, regulatory consulting, or hands-on radiological safety experience
• Clear metacognitive communication with 'showing your work'

Responsibilities

• Challenge language models on ALARA principles, shielding calculations, decay chains, internal/external dose assessments, radioactive waste management, contamination control, and emergency response planning
• Document model failure modes to harden reasoning
• Converse with model on clinical, environmental, and nuclear safety scenarios
• Verify factual accuracy and logical soundness
• Capture reproducible error traces and suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics
