Description

You'll build and maintain the foundation of the Firefox add-ons ecosystem, crafting resilient systems for AMO, DevHub, and reviewer tools. Collaborate with engineers and leadership to modernize the platform, improve reliability, and deliver features that reach millions of users.

Requirements

• Experience leading and building modern web applications
• Full stack development: React/TypeScript, Django, MySQL
• Experience with platform reliability, deployments, monitoring, and incident response on Google Cloud
• Ability to work on open-source projects with community contributors

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver major features and architectural improvements across the Add-ons stack
• Partner with Engineering management to set Operations Engineering standards (SLOs, incident management, observability)
• Mentor engineers and delegate responsibilities
• Improve platform reliability through deployments, monitoring, and incident response
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, QA, and community contributors
