As a Journeyperson Maintenance Mechanic at GILLIG, you will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial equipment and facility systems. Your work ensures production efficiency and safety in a leading transit bus manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• 3-5 years industrial maintenance experience
• Proficient in electrical maintenance (3-phase motors, VFDs)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Own basic tool set
• Pass skill test

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical systems including PLCs, VFDs, and controls
• Perform preventive maintenance and equipment repair
• Fabricate parts using welding and machine tools
• Operate material handling equipment like cranes and forklifts
• Read mechanical/electrical diagrams and technical manuals
