Description

You will develop build processes, tooling, and designs for manufacturability to enable high-rate manufacturing of vehicle fluid systems. You'll work closely with design and build teams, fabricate and install propulsion systems, and guide technicians. You'll also design tooling and processes for welding, tube bending, and large structure integration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace, manufacturing, materials, mechanical engineering or other engineering discipline
• Hands-on project experience with fluid and/or mechanical systems
• 1+ years of manufacturing design experience (internship/academic applicable)
• Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee per ITAR requirements
• Ability to work in tight quarters, extreme outdoor environments, and varying schedules

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing processes, techniques, and tools for efficient high-rate manufacturing
• Work with design engineering to drive simplicity into vehicle fluid systems
• Guide technicians, welders, and fabricators in building fluid systems hardware
• Coordinate and execute development, qualification, and acceptance testing of systems and tooling
• Create CAD models and prints for flight and tooling components
