Description

As a Family Law Paralegal at Cordell & Cordell, you will support attorneys in divorce, custody, and support matters by drafting legal documents, managing case calendars, and communicating with clients and courts. Your work ensures clients feel supported during emotionally sensitive legal processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years family law paralegal or legal assistant experience
• Associate's degree in paralegal studies or equivalent
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel
• Experience with legal software (e.g., Smart Advocate, Clio, MyCase)
• Ability to be onsite Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and other legal documents
• Prepare financial disclosures, child support worksheets, and parenting plans
• Manage case calendars, track deadlines, and ensure timely filings
• Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel professionally
• Handle sensitive client data with discretion and accuracy
