Description

You will lead daily database administration, ensuring a healthy and reliable data environment. You'll partner with the Staff EDW Architect to design high-quality data artifacts, build automated ETL pipelines, and provide operational support while mentoring junior team members.

Requirements

• Deep experience in ETL design and development via custom coding (SQL, Python, Spark, Java) and ETL tools (e.g., Coalesce, Informatica, DataStage, Talend).
• Extensive hands-on experience with Snowflake as a Database Administrator, including understanding of Access Control framework.
• Comfortable with Cloud-hosted solutions, especially AWS (Secrets Manager, KMS, S3, EC2, Linux, Cross-Account Access).
• Innate curiosity to fundamentally understand and solve problems.
• Experience orchestrating data operations via tools like Apache Airflow, Cron, Astronomer.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily database administration to ensure data environment health and reliability.
• Design high-quality data artifacts and ETL solutions following industry best practices.
• Build end-to-end automated ingestion and transformation pipelines.
• Provide operational support for data pipelines: monitor alerts, troubleshoot, and remediate production issues.
• Mentor junior and intermediate data engineers and ETL developers.
