💼 About This Role

You'll lead Varda's on-orbit missions and own the full ops development cycle for mission-unique payloads. You'll automate operational burden by building webtools and scale capabilities to support a growing flight cadence. This role offers the chance to work with a top-tier space startup and shape a unique mission framework.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead on-orbit missions from concept to execution
• Develop mission profiles and operational procedures
• Automate operational tasks by building web tools
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve mission operations

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Electrical, or CS)
• 2+ years in a real-time ops role on complex high-consequence operations
• 1+ years developing software tools in Python, Javascript, and/or HTML
• Familiarity with Avionics, GNC, Software, and Thermal design practices

✨ Nice to Have

• 3+ years experience with spacecraft systems
• Previous operator experience in a leadership role
• Experience with Git and Atlassian products
