Description

You will operate and monitor AST satellite payload subsystems to support constellation services and in-orbit testing. You'll develop and use payload operations tools, analyze telemetry, and collaborate with engineering teams to maintain state of health and troubleshoot issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or STEM field.
• 0-2 years engineering or relevant technical experience.
• Familiarity with version control software (Git preferred).
• Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Programming experience in Java, Python, MATLAB, C, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Support development of payload operations tools for efficient and automated tasks.
• Operate payload tools to generate configuration items for in-orbit testing and commercial service.
• Monitor automated service/testing processes and analyze results via telemetry and logs.
• Coordinate payload configuration changes to maintain commercial service levels.
• Troubleshoot issues with SOC, NOC, and subsystem engineering teams.
