💼 About This Role

You'll manage a portfolio of accounting clients, supervise staff, and ensure accurate financial reporting while leveraging cloud-based tools like QuickBooks. You'll serve as a key client advisor, driving process improvements and technology adoption. This in-office role in Maui offers advancement opportunities based on demonstrated leadership.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Coordinate planning, budgeting, and scheduling of client engagements.
• Oversee full-charge bookkeeping, monthly close, and financial statement preparation.
• Review deliverables for accuracy and GAAP compliance.
• Supervise, train, and mentor junior bookkeepers and associates.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years progressive accounting experience (public or private industry).
• 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online and Desktop.

✨ Nice to Have

• Nonprofit accounting experience (fund accounting, restricted net assets).
• Experience with Form 990 support.
• Strong Microsoft Office 365 skills.
