Description
You will serve as the senior technical authority for designing, evaluating, and sustaining electrical power systems supporting mission-critical telecommunications infrastructure for the federal government. You'll ensure power systems are engineered for high reliability, resilience, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
- DoD 8140 certification (e.g., Security+, SSCP, or CISSP) or deemed not applicable
- 8+ years experience in evaluation, research, design, and analysis of complex electrical power systems for IT
- Hands-on experience with data center electrical systems: power distribution, grounding, UPS, ATS, batteries
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (experience may substitute)
Responsibilities
- Lead, plan, design, monitor, analyze, troubleshoot, document, and evolve electrical state of telecommunications networks
- Design and evaluate electrical power systems supporting mission-critical infrastructure
- Support resilient, high-availability infrastructure operations in secure environments
- Participate in Agile execution and technical planning discussions
- Communicate technical recommendations and engineering decisions clearly to stakeholders
