Description

As an NLP Engineer at Point72, you will build state-of-the-art deep learning models for large-scale unstructured datasets, analyze data for portfolio managers, and research new data management technologies. This role offers the chance to apply your expertise in the financial industry.

Requirements

• PhD or Master's in computer science, data science, statistics, or related field
• At least 3 years of experience in NLP, computer vision, speech, or related field
• Extensive experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Understanding of modern language model architectures with practical implementation experience
• Excellent coding skills in Python and SQL

Responsibilities

• Build state-of-the-art deep learning models for large-scale unstructured datasets
• Engage with vendors to understand dataset characteristics
• Analyze datasets to generate descriptive statistics and propose applications
• Conduct preliminary research and evaluation of datasets for Portfolio Managers
• Research new technologies for efficient data management and retrieval
