💼 About This Role

You'll lead and scale Notion's commercial legal function, owning strategy, team, and execution for all commercial legal matters globally. You'll serve as the senior legal advisor to go-to-market functions and drive AI-powered efficiencies in contract processes. This role reports to the General Counsel and offers the opportunity to shape the legal operations of a high-growth SaaS leader.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor a global team of commercial attorneys.
• Structure and negotiate complex enterprise SaaS and AI agreements.
• Build scalable legal playbooks and self-service tools.
• Advise on privacy, AI regulations, and cross-border data issues.

📋 Requirements

• 15+ years of commercial/tech transactions experience (law firm + in-house SaaS).
• Admitted to CA/NY bar or registered in-house counsel.
• Experience managing distributed legal teams across multiple regions.
• Deep expertise in enterprise SaaS contracts and AI terms.
