๐ผ About This Role
You'll lead payer strategy and contracting for Scan.com's US business, owning deals from analysis to signature. You'll convert a pipeline of health plan conversations into signed contracts while building a reusable payer contracting playbook. This founding hire role reports to the CEO and offers the chance to scale a team as the function grows.
๐ฏ What You'll Do
- Convert active pipeline of health plan conversations to signed contracts.
- Open new payer conversations beyond CEO-sourced pipeline.
- Build bespoke analysis for each live deal including claims data review.
- Design rate architecture and SLA structures to protect contribution margin.
- Own deal execution end-to-end, from term sheet to countersigned paper.
๐ Requirements
- Direct operating experience inside a US health plan, payer, TPA, or network services organization.
- Deep fluency with payer economics including HOPD vs freestanding pricing and rate structures.
- Strong financial analysis and modeling skills including claims data interrogation.
- Track record of closing complex healthcare contracts in-house or as a counterpart.
- Highly accomplished in using modern AI tools to compress analysis and drafting.
