You'll join Verkada as a key legal partner for product, engineering, and supply chain teams, ensuring compliance with global trade and product regulations. You'll build scalable compliance programs from the ground up and simplify complex regulations to accelerate product delivery. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Advise product, engineering, and supply chain teams on trade and product compliance.
• Partner with supply chain and outside counsel for EAR, ITAR, and OFAC compliance.
• Design and implement scalable compliance programs, starting with alarms products.
• Develop global internal controls and audit frameworks for export controls.

📋 Requirements

• 6+ years of compliance experience in trade compliance, software/hardware compliance, or regulatory support.
• Experience driving cross-functional collaboration at multinational high-tech companies.
• Experience implementing compliance programs across many jurisdictions and product lines.
• Expertise in ITAR, EAR, OFAC or regulatory compliance for connected devices.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with NDAA and FedRAMP compliance.
• Knowledge of licensing for alarms or batteries.
• Background in government procurement compliance.
