💼 About This Role

You'll support emergency veterinary care as a per diem assistant at VEG, a fast-growing ER network. Your core impact includes triaging patients, assisting with treatments, and learning advanced skills like anesthesia support. This role offers hands-on training in a supportive team environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Triage incoming patients and guide them toward care
• Assist with treatments, nursing care, and diagnostics
• Set up and manage IV fluids, blood transfusions, and medications
• Assist during outpatient or inpatient care and patient rounds

📋 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Enrolled in an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program a plus
• 1+ years in a veterinary assistant role
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg and support up to 40 kg
