Description

You will design and build APIs and backend components for a leading BNPL platform, writing maintainable, high-performance code that scales to handle billions of euros in transactions. Collaborate with product and engineering leaders to evolve the architecture, and take ownership of production issues and performance optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience with large-scale backend systems (internships and apprenticeships excluded)
• Proficiency with Python and relational databases
• Fluent in French and good level in English mandatory
• Ability to influence how businesses and products are developed
• Methodical, strong communication and problem-solving skills, ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team

Responsibilities

• Create APIs and backend components that enable payments for thousands of merchants and millions of consumers
• Write maintainable code that meets the highest quality, security, and performance standards expected of a regulated company processing billions of euros
• Evolve the architecture to meet growing business needs in close collaboration with the product team and other technical leaders
• Take the lead in production issues and performance troubleshooting, upgrading our product to achieve greater reliability in the long run
