You will design and develop scalable backend services for the Software Engineering Insights product, which connects to developer tools and processes millions of events to deliver actionable metrics. This role involves working in agile cycles, debugging distributed systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ship quality software that directly impacts how developers build software.

Requirements

• 12+ years building scalable distributed applications using Java and Golang
• Experience with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Deep understanding of building and deploying distributed resilient software
• Excellent problem solving and debugging skills
• Experience working in short release cycles

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy and maintain critical software in Java
• Author functional specifications and design documents
• Own key system components and delivered quality
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex problems in distributed systems
• Perform peer reviews of specifications, design, and code
