Description

Join the Add-ons Engineering team at Mozilla to build and maintain addons.mozilla.org (AMO), the core of the Firefox add-ons ecosystem. You'll design, build, and refine frontend experiences using React/TypeScript, contribute to platform modernization, and help keep the platform secure and trustworthy for millions of users and developers.

Requirements

• 4+ years professional experience building modern web applications
• Proficiency in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS
• Strong debugging and testing skills
• Familiarity with Python/Django or similar backend frameworks
• Understanding of web security, accessibility, responsive design, and API integration

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and refine frontend experiences in AMO and DevHub using React/TypeScript
• Contribute to modernization and improvements in architecture and maintainability
• Help keep the platform safe and trustworthy with attention to security and user trust
• Resolve issues impacting users and developers, from bugs to incidents
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, QA, and community contributors
