💼 About This Role

You'll join a high-caliber Extensibility Engineering team to improve our ultra-low latency, secure, and scalable platform for untrusted code execution. You will significantly contribute to the Customer Identity Ecosystem, realizing a huge impact for customers and partners. This role offers the chance to work on groundbreaking identity technology at Okta.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead, design, architect, and document large-scale projects using Node.js, Golang, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, AWS, Azure, and Kubernetes.
• Mentor others by coaching and delegating responsibilities.
• Contribute to improving Auth0's architecture, performance, observability, security controls, and best practices.
• Collaborate with Product and Security teams to define and improve Auth0's Extensibility platform.

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software development building distributed systems with Node.js and/or Go.
• Strong experience in API-driven applications using REST and/or gRPC.
• Experience with packaging and distributing containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• High bar for code quality and quality of user experience.

✨ Nice to Have

• Frontend application development in React/Angular or other JavaScript frameworks.
• Understanding of evergreen infrastructure and CI/CD best practices.
• Experience with sandboxing untrusted code or tenant isolation.
