You will work on Linux, cloud infrastructure, pipelines and automation, collaborating with cloud partners like Amazon, Microsoft, and Google to make Ubuntu the best platform in the clouds. Your work involves build system development, implementing cloud features in Ubuntu Server, operating continuous delivery pipelines, and direct partner engagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or equivalent in Computer Science, STEM or similar degree
• Practical experience with public clouds
• Experience with at least 3 of: containers, devops automation, open source projects, APIs, Linux systems administration, Python packaging, cloud-based applications
• Experience in Python software development on Linux
• Love technology, curious, flexible, articulate, accountable

Responsibilities

• Build automated, highly reliable image delivery, testing and publication pipelines
• Design, build and integrate new features into Ubuntu for public clouds
• Collaborate proactively with a distributed team
• Write high quality code and design complex systems
• Engage with open source community and commercial partners
