💼 About This Role

You'll interpret blueprints and fabricate structural metal parts for autonomous maritime platforms. You'll use SMAW, GMAW, and FCAW welding to assemble components for ship production. This role involves working aloft and in confined spaces in a fast-paced shipyard environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Read and interpret blueprints and sketches for metal fabrication
• Cut, grind, and assemble structural parts using welding processes
• Install pipes, fittings, flanges, and ship machinery
• Inspect and test installed systems for compliance

📋 Requirements

• Ability to read blueprints and sketches
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Proficiency with cutting and welding tools (SMAW, GMAW, FCAW)
• Willingness to work aloft and in confined spaces

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in shipyard or heavy industrial environments
• Knowledge of rigging equipment
• Familiarity with hydrostatic testing
