Description

As the Pharmacist-in-Charge, you will oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with specialty care clinics to optimize medication access and patient outcomes. You'll lead audits, supervise staff, and drive continuous improvement in a start-up environment.

Requirements

• Leadership experience in a pharmacy, PIC experience preferred
• Active, unrestricted pharmacist license eligible to become PIC in State of Employment
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent advanced degree
• Experience with specialty medication benefits investigation, prior authorization, and financial assistance
• Proficiency in pharmacy software systems (QS1, ComputerRx, PioneerRx, WAM, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws, DEA, and Board of Pharmacy regulations
• Serve as PIC with accountability for licensure, controlled substance oversight, and regulatory inspections
• Oversee daily pharmacy operations including dispensing, patient safety, and clinical protocols
• Supervise and train pharmacists, technicians, and staff to maintain quality standards
• Collaborate with providers and clinic staff to support coordinated patient care and formulary optimization
