You will support payroll accounting functions during a critical period, handling reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting deliverables while also managing Canadian payroll operations. Requirements

• 3+ years of payroll accounting experience with payroll operations and GL accounting
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite and/or Blackline or similar ERP and reconciliation platforms
• Solid understanding of US federal and state payroll compliance; Canadian payroll experience is a strong plus
• Meticulous attention to accuracy and detail
• Clear communicator able to respond to cross-functional requests quickly

Responsibilities

• Prepare payroll-related journal entries in NetSuite
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline, resolving variances within 30 days
• Process biweekly Canadian payroll for two legal entities, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
• Reconcile monthly benefits billing statements to internal payroll records
• Support year-end reconciliations, compliance reviews, and internal audit initiatives
