Description

You will design and build a high-impact service from the ground up, shaping the architecture that powers SoFi's Financial AI Agent. You'll work at the forefront of Generative AI, integrating with the agent to deliver intelligent, context-aware, and compliant experiences that help members take confident financial steps. This role involves full-stack development, code quality ownership, and close partnership across Product, Design, and Engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of professional programming experience on modern full-stack architecture
• Proficiency in React (web) is required; Flutter (mobile) experience preferred
• 3+ years of backend experience with Java or Kotlin (Kotlin/Spring/PostgreSQL/DynamoDB stack preferred)
• Experience using LLM/AI tools to increase efficiency

Responsibilities

• Lead full-stack development across mobile/web interfaces and backend microservices
• Lead code reviews and model engineering excellence
• Translate product requirements into high-quality execution plans with polished UI/UX
• Collaborate with project leads, engineering managers, and developers on complex feature launches
