Description

You will serve as the primary point of contact for acquiring geospatial data for Homeland Security missions, managing data acquisition, quality control, and stakeholder engagement to deliver high-value data products.

Requirements

• Advanced expertise in geospatial data management, acquisition, and quality control
• Experience with stakeholder engagement and communication
• Ability to negotiate licensing agreements and manage procurement
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining geospatial metadata
• Experience with data provider relationship management

Responsibilities

• Lead development of methodologies for geospatial data collection and maintenance
• Manage data intake and prioritize data needs based on mission partner use cases
• Oversee budget management for data acquisition to secure high-value data products
• Define and enforce geospatial data requirements including accuracy, coverage, and formats
• Lead QA/QC efforts including data review, validation, and application of standardized checklists
