Description

You will apply data science and causal inference to measure and improve detection of harmful content on Roblox. You'll establish ground truth datasets, develop prevalence metrics, and partner with product, engineering, policy, and legal teams to guide safety strategy.

Requirements

• 10+ years in data science, economics, analytics, or ML engineering.
• 7+ years using Python, R, SQL, Hive, Spark, Airflow.
• Knowledge of ML and Deep Learning.
• Experience developing large-scale safety or moderation systems.
• Advanced degree in Statistics, CS, Physics, Math, Economics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Establish and monitor prevalence measurement methodologies for harmful content.
• Develop and validate ground truth datasets for harmful UGC and violative behaviors.
• Conduct exploratory analysis on emerging threat landscapes.
• Design and analyze experiments for moderation and safety enforcement features.
• Leverage causal inference to measure effectiveness and systemic impacts of safety initiatives.
