Description

You will lead a team of data engineers to design and build MyHeritage's data infrastructure and platform, tackling big data challenges with diverse data types including structured, unstructured, and DNA genome data. You'll collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to define data requirements and drive the data strategy, ensuring alignment and adoption.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Data Engineering experience
• 3+ years of engineering team management
• B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent
• High proficiency in Python, Java, or other OOP languages
• Experience with batch/stream processing (e.g., Airflow, Spark) and AWS

Responsibilities

• Lead data engineering team and remain hands-on with architecture and development
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data infrastructure strategy
• Design and evolve large-scale data models and database architectures
• Build and maintain robust data pipelines for critical business functions
• Implement data quality and monitoring systems
