💼 About This Role

You'll own material segments of general ledger operations and lead expenditure management for a fast-growing insurance technology platform. Your core impact will be driving automation across financial workflows and ensuring audit-ready reconciliations. You'll report to the GL Accounting Manager and help build a more resilient financial infrastructure.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Identify and automate repetitive or error-prone financial workflows.
• Review and ensure proper coding of all AP invoices, corporate card transactions, and employee reimbursements.
• Resolve vendor billing discrepancies and partner with internal teams on expense policies.
• Produce audit-ready reconciliations and workpapers for month-end close.

📋 Requirements

• 4 to 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of AP operations and high-volume transaction controls.
• Hands-on experience with an ERP like NetSuite.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with ASC 842, 350-40, 340-40, or 718.
• Working knowledge of Ramp or Bill.com.
• Active CPA license.
