Operations Manager - Cultivation

Description
You will lead the production team in a cannabis facility, coordinating daily operations and long-term targets. You'll manage resources to maximize safety, compliance, efficiency, and productivity, while developing a multilevel professional team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business preferred
- 5+ years of management experience in manufacturing; direct management of 30+ individuals
- Consumer Packaged Goods experience preferred
- In-depth knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma (certifications a plus)
- Adapts to fast-paced startup environment; strong communication and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities
- Oversee strategic planning for plant operations (processing, packaging, maintenance, quality, logistics/fulfillment)
- Manage facility activities with departmental managers to meet wholesale objectives on time and budget
- Partner with GM on budgeting; analyze efficiency metrics, labor variance, defect rates, cost drivers, capacity planning
- Develop reporting to illustrate business trends; maintain company culture of accountability, transparency, enjoyment
- Implement and maintain facility and equipment preventative maintenance program; ensure compliance with regulations
