Description

You will own the design, qualification, and testing of Radio Frequency units for space applications, manage technical interfaces, improve test setups, and support your team with your RF expertise. This role focuses on developing and testing avionics systems for Spectrum rockets.

Requirements

• BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or comparable
• Exceptional knowledge of RF systems and wireless communications, preferably in space applications
• Strong knowledge of RF design principles (passive and active circuits from UHF to X-band)
• Good knowledge of analog/digital electronics
• Experience with testing operations (functional, environmental, field testing) and automation of electronic test setups

Responsibilities

• Own design, qualification, and testing of RF units/subsystems (antennas, transmitters, GNSS receivers)
• Define/review requirements for RF units and associated test plans/setups, execute environmental qualification and acceptance test campaigns with focus on automation
• Perform on-field avionics test campaigns (stage check-outs)
• Work on various electronics design and test related ad-hoc tasks across the team
