Description

As a Generator Technician, you will service and repair commercial generators on cell phone towers, performing maintenance, diagnostics, installations, and emergency response. This role is ideal for independent, self-starting individuals willing to travel.

Requirements

• 1+ year experience with generator and electrical maintenance
• Thorough knowledge of generator installation, maintenance, and repair
• Knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs, stoop, bend, kneel, climb, stand for long periods
• Willing to travel, work varied hours, and be on-call

Responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose, repair, and install generators and components
• Conduct performance checks and regular maintenance
• Read blueprints and install fuel/water lines, pumps, wiring, controls
• Respond promptly to power/generator alarms and be on-call 24/7
• Perform work safely using proper equipment and attend safety meetings
