💼 About This Role

You'll own flight test operational safety and the Safety Management System at Archer, a leader in electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft. You'll manage hazard/risk processes, lead investigations, and drive a proactive safety culture across all test activities.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead hazard identification and risk management for flight test operations
• Develop and maintain the Flight Test Safety Management System
• Own and conduct the Flight Test Emergency Response Plan and drills
• Lead investigations of flight test incidents and near misses
• Foster safety culture and provide safety training to test personnel

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years in flight test safety, aviation safety, or related field
• Experience with Safety Management Systems (SMS)
• Knowledge of hazard analysis and risk assessment methods
• Ability to lead investigations and produce technical reports

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in aerospace or eVTOL development
• Certification in safety or human factors
• Familiarity with Part 25/27/29 or similar regulations
