Description

You will play a key role in developing and producing avionics systems for the K2 Mega-class satellite platform, performing precision rework on high-reliability PCBAs, collaborating with engineering teams, and supporting wire harness fabrication as needed.

Requirements

• Deep technical expertise in reworking high reliability PCBAs
• Proficiency in micro-soldering and rework of fine-pitch components
• Experience with ESD-safe practices
• Ability to collaborate with design and test engineers
• Proven process improvement feedback skills

Responsibilities

• Perform precision hand soldering and rework of PCBs including 0402 and smaller SMT components using hot air, micro-soldering, and reflow
• Solder Bottom Termination Components (BTC), modify traces/pads, and run jumper wires on PCB
• Support subassemblies and fabricate test harnesses for avionics testing
• Assist hardware troubleshooting with engineering teams to resolve board failures
• Provide training to other technicians to scale production
