💼 About This Role

You'll join Adverum's Process Development team focusing on downstream purification of gene therapy products. Your work will directly impact manufacturing processes for novel ocular gene therapies. This contract role offers hands-on experience with pilot-scale operations.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Perform pilot scale downstream purification using column chromatography, UFDF, and filtration.
• Prepare buffers and maintain downstream laboratory equipment.
• Maintain reagent, sample, and consumables inventory.
• Assist with data entry and analysis in Excel or statistical software.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in chemical/biochemical engineering or related field.
• 6-8 years of downstream purification experience in pharmaceutical or gene therapy manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with TFF, UF/DF, and column chromatography.
• Experience with AKTA Avant is required.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with statistical analysis software like JMP.
• Familiarity with regulatory guidelines for biologics manufacturing.
