Description

You will perform preventive, corrective, and restorative maintenance on critical power systems such as UPS, DC systems, and batteries for commercial and industrial customers. Your role involves troubleshooting, repairing equipment, mentoring junior technicians, and building strong customer relationships.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years as a third-party critical power field service technician or 5 years in an OEM service environment
• Good understanding of AC/DC electrical principles
• Knowledge of multimeters and battery test equipment
• Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and troubleshoot to component level
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass pre-employment drug screen

Responsibilities

• Install electrical equipment including small rack-mounted UPS, batteries, and monitoring equipment
• Maintain battery cabinets, racks, bypass, monitoring, DC systems, and other electrical equipment
• Perform remedial services: failure analysis, troubleshooting, component repairs, and battery replacements
• Provide excellent customer service and upsell products
• Teach and mentor crew members on site work, troubleshooting, and repair techniques
