💼 About This Role

You'll join the Genomic Core team to support next-generation sequencing workflows for drug discovery. You'll prepare libraries, operate Illumina sequencers, and ensure high-quality data generation. This role offers the chance to contribute to cutting-edge genomics research at an AI-driven biotech startup.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Prepare Illumina sequencing libraries using TruSeq, Nextera, or amplicon workflows.
• Perform PCR and qPCR assays for library prep and quality control.
• Operate and maintain Illumina sequencers (MiSeq, NextSeq).
• Run basic analysis pipelines (bcl2fastq, CellRanger).

📋 Requirements

• B.S./M.S. in Molecular Biology, Genomics, or related field with 0-2 years lab experience.
• Proficiency in Illumina sequencing library preparation for DNA and RNA.
• Experience with PCR and qPCR techniques.
• Understanding of NGS biochemistry and assay design.

✨ Nice to Have

• Exposure to single-cell sequencing workflows (10x Genomics).
• Familiarity with LIMS or data tracking systems (Benchling, BaseSpace).
• Experience operating Illumina sequencers.
