In this hands-on leadership role, you will oversee the global financial control environment, ensuring compliance with corporate governance and regulatory standards, while driving continuous improvement and AI adoption. You will both lead and execute, balancing rigor with business partnership to enable growth.

Requirements

• 8-12 years of progressive accounting and financial controls experience in a multi-region or multinational company
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and driving control improvements
• Strong understanding of SOX compliance and Big4 audit processes
• Hands-on, doer mindset: willing to execute, not just supervise
• Experience with AI adoption and automation in finance is a plus

Responsibilities

• Oversee global financial controls framework, ensuring alignment with Unilever governance and regulatory requirements
• Manage accounting operations and financial reporting for North America and Australia
• Assess and elevate control maturity across APAC and other regions
• Own day-to-day execution: building financial models, drafting control documentation, driving process improvements
• Champion AI adoption within controls and accounting function
