💼 About This Role

You'll own the electrical architecture of ground-based interceptor platforms at a defense startup building AI-powered counter-drone systems. Your designs will go from prototype to production fast, enabling real-time threat neutralization on the battlefield.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Lead end-to-end design of complex multi-layer PCBs
  • Integrate microphone arrays ensuring signal integrity for low-noise audio
  • Optimize power distribution for high-torque motors and edge compute
  • Develop robust circuits for motor controllers and communication protocols

📋 Requirements

  • Proven track record shipping real-world physical systems
  • Mastery of Altium or KiCad for high-density PCB design
  • Hands-on experience integrating digital audio interfaces (I2S, TDM, PDM)
  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to pass background check

  • Experience with DoD codes and standards for electrical systems
  • Power systems for high-speed gimbal or turret systems
  • Security clearance or ability to obtain one
