💼 About This Role

You'll lead the end-to-end design strategy for mixed-signal ASICs that power our neutral-atom quantum computers. Your work will directly shape quantum gate performance and system integration. As our first ASIC hire, you'll define our long-term silicon roadmap.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define ASIC design methodologies including CAD flow and tape-out.
• Develop high-level behavioral models for control loop simulation.
• Lead RTL development for low-latency RF pulse generation.
• Own UVM verification strategy and formal verification.
• Manage subsystem delivery schedules for research projects.

📋 Requirements

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of post-degree ASIC/SoC experience.
• Led at least 2 complete tape-outs.
• Expertise in high-speed ADCs/DACs (GSPS+) and RF sampling.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with cryogenic CMOS.
• Familiarity with software-defined radio (SDR).
• Quantum control systems background.
