You'll develop multiphysics simulation frameworks for high-energy laser systems at a fusion energy startup. Your work will enable digital twin environments that accelerate design cycles and reduce experimental risk. This role offers the opportunity to shape scalable fusion energy infrastructure.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and validate integrated optical and multiphysics simulation frameworks.
• Model complex amplifier architectures and thermal management schemes.
• Develop and maintain simulation backbone for digital twin environment.
• Integrate experimental data with simulation outputs for validation.

📋 Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in optics, computational physics, or related field.
• Deep understanding of laser and optical systems including propagation and thermal effects.
• Proficiency with multiphysics tools (COMSOL, ANSYS, Zemax) and programming (Python, MATLAB, C/C++).
• Experience developing multiphysics or digital twin models.

• Experience with system modeling tools (Simulink, Modelica).
• Familiarity with HPC and parallel computing (MPI, CUDA).
• Hands-on exposure to laser systems or optomechanical hardware.
