Description

You will lead and grow the AI Services engineering team at Nothing, a design-driven tech company. You will own team delivery, partner with Product and Design, and drive technical direction while coaching engineers. You'll work on bleeding-edge AI products and ensure rapid, quality shipping.

Requirements

• Strong engineering foundation with production software experience (full-stack preferred)
• Proven people leadership experience managing engineers directly
• Delivery ownership with bias toward shipping and balancing speed with rigour
• AI product fluency (LLMs, agents, real-time systems)
• Comfort with ambiguity and clear, direct communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and grow a team of full-stack and AI engineers
• Own the team's delivery, setting a high bar for execution and removing blockers
• Partner with Product and Design to translate ideas into executable roadmaps
• Drive technical direction alongside senior engineers on architecture, tooling, build-vs-buy
• Build and maintain engineering excellence: code quality, review practices, incident response
